A way to get a full copy of DOS on hard disk?

I've seen several messages on this forum saying the latest versions of Windows don't provide a full version of DOS. Is there a way I can dig out my old DOS 6.2 disks and put a full version of DOS on my hard disk? Maybe on a 2nd partition or a 2nd DOS-based hard disk?
