In recovering from a crashed disk, I have recovered my photos in such a way that I have dupes of all of my 2006 photos. Beneath my 2006_Photos directory, I have 50 or 60 sub-folders at various levels, and in each subfolder I need to delete duplicate files. They're easy to find, because the names all end as _JPG_1.JPG or _AVI_1.AVI. Using DOS, I can navigate to each subfolder and just del *_*1.* to get them out. Or more carefully, del *_JPG_1.JPG and likewise for AVI. Is there a way to execute these commands on all subfolders without navigating up and down the tree into each subfolder?
