think this is pretty new. detected slight increase in network traffic activity.

sits in start up folder, no other source exes or files it links to/references found on the pc (so far..).

anyone has more details abt it’s origins/what it is related to, what it might do etc?

ps: @David: ty for the info. mcafree didn't pick it up either. but it did say "services.exe has caused a buffer overflow". that is how i started snooping on the pc.
if it indeed is a Pakes variant, it seems pretty harmless... is it waiting to dl or signal/'wake up' something else? could it be just a ploy to throw us off and look us in the other direction? could this be the beginning of something nasty? :C
