If you are running Windows XP, you can simply hook the two computers together (assuming they both have an ethernet connection - use a CAT 5/5e/6 Ethernet cable with RJ45 ends rated for 10Base-T or 100Base-T). When they are connected together, run the Network Setup Wizard. When you are done, you should be able to see the laptop from whatever computer you have the iomega connected to by selecting My Network Places in the Start Menu.

: i have a dos ms cookbook and want to transfer it to my hard drive. i had a floppy disk and got it on my lap top and now i want to save it on my iomega so i can use it on my mini. how do i do it?
