Xcopy in dos

I use the following command in a batch file to copy the FireFox profile to another disk to be a backup. However, it does not copy any subfolders. I thought xcopy was the comand to use for this.What's wrong?

xcopy /s/y/e/q %appdata%\mozilla\firefox\profiles
